Independent stats aren’t as important as they use to be, we all know apple has lower stats, but due to the way they built their devices they outperform every other device with higher stats, meaning, the most important thing is the overall performance.

Build

The Alldocube x Neo has dimensions of 9.4 x 6.6 x 0.3 inches and it weighs only 1.1 pounds. It sits nicely in your hands, it isn’t that heavy it won’t exhaust your hands. This tablet has a metal outer casing which makes this quite cheap device feel more expensive in hand. But one con may be the lack of color options, it comes only in silver color.

On the bottom, while in landscape mode there is a pogo pin connector, which is used to connect the tablet to a keyboard. The left side has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, a SIM tray slot, and one speaker. On the right side, there is the second speaker, volume controls, and power button. In the front, on the top, there is the front camera and the ambient light sensor. The rear camera is located on the back. Also on the back, there are little drawings that symbolize the function of the port.

One con may be that the front has a plastic frame around the screen.

Overall this tablet has a nice build quality, it feels more luxurious than it is.

Screen

Alldocube X Neo has a 10.5-inch screen, it has a Super AMOLED display, that has an integrated touch function.

This tablet has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The maximum nits on this device are 400, which is good. It has amazing colors, deep blacks, and an overall beautiful experience.

The ambient light sensor which is located right next to the front camera can be set to automatically dim the brightness which matches the environment around you.

In the settings, there is an eye shield mode, which turns off the blue light and dims it down to a more like yellow undertone. Also, this tablet has a reading mode that turns the tablet monochrome.

A big con may be flicker while the tablet is on low brightness. Though some people may not see it. Also, this device misses the white balance setting, so if you want to change it, you will have to install a third-party app.

Display on Alldocube X Neo is its strength. Not many medium-budget tablets have such a nice screen.

Camera

Alldocube X Neo has two cameras the rear camera while in landscape mode is located in the middle back and the front camera is located on the middle front.

The rear camera has 5 MP which delivers quite average quality. The front camera is only 2 MP which isn’t that much. This tablet has a frame rate of 20 frames per second. This isn’t a very good feature, the videos will look like they’re stuttering a bit.

This tablet can be easily used to make video calls on WhatsApp, Skype, or Zoom. The quality will be decent but not astonishing. If you want to use your tablet to take good photography then this device won’t be the one for you.

Audio system

Alldocube X Neo has two speakers which are both located on a different side, this feature gives you the stereo effect. Some medium-budget tablets don’t have this feature.

The speakers aren’t the best on this tablet. While playing on lower volumes you can hear a constant hissing. The speakers can generate loud sounds but on the highest volumes, it sounds a little bit harsh.
These speakers are better than other tablets that have about the same price.

This tablet lacks bass. To watch YouTube it won’t be a problem, but to watch movies or listen to music we would recommend you to buy a headphone or earphone set.

Battery life

Alldocube X Neo has a 7700 mAh Li-Po battery. It supports Qualcomm’s 18W QC3.0 quick charge. With this charger, you can fully charge the tablet in about 3 hours.

This device’s battery life isn’t spectacular. It lasted only 7 hours while playing videos. But if you’re doing low-demand tasks it should last you up to 9 hours. This feature compared to other mid-range tablets isn’t very impressive. Most of the mid-range tablets have at least 9 hours of battery life.

Storage

Alldocube X Neo has only one storage option, which is 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. Although you can extend the storage up to 512 GB with a MicroSD card.

The 4 GB of RAM is a very nice feature. You can easily multitask, open multiple apps, and switch through them quickly. This option is very good because even if you would have the best processor in the world, but your tablet would lack the RAM capacity, your device would perform poorly.

Performance

This tablet has a comparatively old processor the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE. It has an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 512 GPU. This set was released in 2017.

This tablet has no issues while watching 4K YouTube videos or surfing the internet. Although there will be some noticeable stutters while you have a lot of demanding apps opened in the background.

Practically all games can be run on this tablet, but the difference comes in the performance this device gives. On this tablet, you can easily play low-demand games like Candy Crush and Subway Surfers. Alldocube X Neo can also carry high-demand games – Asphalt 8, PUBG Mobile, and Fortnite. Although in these games, you can only put graphics up to medium or low, if you go higher there will be a noticeable lag and stutter.

On their official site there isn’t mentioned any resistance to drops, but judging by its metal casing it could take minor drops and bumps. Although, Alldocube has stated that this tablet isn’t waterproof.

Which tablet has a better build?

Both the X and X Neo have the same build and the same wight, X is a little bit lighter. They have a metal outer casing, which makes these mid-range tablets feel more expensive. Around the display there is plastic.

One thing that some people wouldn’t like on the Neo X is the port labeling. On the back, there is a little drawing of the function of each port. Although, for people who have just started their tablet experience and are looking for their first tablet this might be helpful.

A very nice thing on the Alldocube X is the fingerprint scanner which is located on the right side while holding it in landscape mode. The best way to press it is with your index finger. It’s far easier to use it while in landscape mode or else it’s in an uncomfortable position – on the top or the bottom. This fingerprint scanner unlocks this tablet at the same speed iPad Pro and Samsung does, it takes about 1 or 2 seconds to unlock.

We think that judging by building the Alldocube X is a bit better, it’s lighter and has a fingerprint scanner, which the Alldocube X Neo hasn’t.

Which tablet has a better screen?

Both of these tablets have the same 10.5 inches super AMOLED screen. Both also have a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Displays and the experience on these devices are almost the same, Laminated screen, bright colors, and sharp details. The only big difference is that the X Neo is brighter it can go to 400 nits, X can go only to 300 nits.

Some people may bug the black, thin outline of the display. Most tablets don’t have this feature.

Still, both screens work like a charm while watching movies, TV shows, and videos. But the display on the Alldocube X Neo is better because it can be brighter.

Which tablet has better cameras and speakers?

Both tablets have two cameras located in the same places. One visual difference in the outside is that the Alldocube X has a square type rear camera, but Alldocube X Neo has a round camera.

But the actual difference is in the camera quality. Alldocube X has both cameras with 8 MP that deliver quite nice pictures. But in some light, they can come out a bit bland. Making Skype, Zoom or video calls will work like a charm with this tablet.

Alldocube X Neo has weaker cameras. The rear camera is 5 MP and the front camera is only 2 MP. This isn’t the tablet’s strength. You can still make video calls, but taking good pictures won’t be possible.

Both tablets have two speakers, which also doesn’t deliver the best sound. Alldocube X has the speakers on the same side. X Neo has these speakers located on different sides, so these speakers are more apart, giving you the stereo effect. With Alldocube X this feature won’t be possible.

Judging by camera quality Alldocube X is a clear winner, but by speaker performance, the Alldocube X Neo is a step ahead.

Which tablet is faster?

The Alldocube X Neo has a newer and faster chipset. With this tablet, you can play high-demand games on medium graphics, and do the most basic things. We’re not saying that you can’t do the same on Alldocube X but the performance won’t be so pleasing.

Both devices are in the same range of price, both have the same screen specs and build. We can also mention that Alldocube X Neo has a way better battery life (up to 9 hours) than Alldocube X (up to 5 hours). Choosing between them will be surely preferential.

If you want to have a tablet with better cameras that deliver quite decent photos, you should go for Alldocube X. But if you need an overall tablet for different tasks and different entertainment or use it for studies Alldocube X Neo will be a better choice.
