Guidelines For Buying The Best Tablets

While the above would have given some basic information about the various important brand names, so many choices could often lead to confusion and indecision. Hence, we need to have some basic information and knowledge about the various things to be kept in mind when planning to buy a suitable tablet. We are sharing some useful tips that could help you to make the right choices. We’re talking about tablets in the price range of $200-$300.

Be Sure About The Size

When buying tablets, be sure about the size of the screen. You have tablets starting from about 7 inches and it could go up to 10 inches and more. The size that you choose would depend on the purpose for which you are planning to use it. If it is for sending emails or browsing then you could go in for small screen sizes. On the other hand, if you decide to use it for watching movies, playing games and other such audiovisual purposes then go in for bigger sized screens.

Operating System is Important

Tablets usually have three main operating systems, iOS, Windows, and Android. (Unfortunately, there are no iOS devices in this category) Each one is unique and has its own pros and cons. Android is the most commonly used OS because it is from Google and has many features and possibilities. Android also is customizable and flexible. We also recommend picking a tablet with the same OS you have on your laptop and phone, this makes your life a little bit easier. The connections, file transfers, charging, etc.

Be Sure About Budget

You should be sure as to what you are ready to pay for your tablet and how long you want to use it. You have tablets starting from $200 and could go up to $500 and more. If you are looking for a mix of cost and performance, you could choose something that is priced at around $300. There are many outlets where you could get the best tablets under $300. Though there could be a few tablets selling at around $100 it would be better to look at them with suspicion and buy them only when you are very sure about the features.

Have A Look at Features

Features that you choose are directly connected to the actual use of the tablets. If you want to use the tablet just for checking emails and do other such simple tasks, you could choose a lower-end tablet. On the other hand, if you are planning to use it for studying, working, gaming, and other such purposes then, you must go in for a higher-end tablet with a better display, memory, and other considerations.

Quality of Battery

A good tablet should always have the best quality battery and it should last at least six to nine hours once it has been charged fully. Never settle for a tablet that does not offer at least six hours of uninterrupted use once the batteries have been charged. So always check battery life, average use time and how long does it take to fully charge the tablet.

Conclusion

If you want our recommendations to go with Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 2020, it’s the best overall choice. It’s perfect for multimedia purpose – reading, watching movies, videos, video calls, chatting, emailing, etc. It can easily handle lightweight gaming and even heavyweight gaming on lower settings. If you’re going for a device where you want to do some work, we would recommend a chrome OS device – Lenovo Chromebook Duet, it’s the best multi-task device under $300, you will get everything that’s expected from these devices and a bit more.

If you want something more premium with better specifications, features, S pen, Keyboard…unfortunately, you will have to increase your budget, these are the best tablets you can get for your money worth.
